I note with great sadness the death of Tanya Reinhart, an Israeli linguist and one of the most well informed and persuasive critics of her own country’s policies towards the Palestinians. Anyone who has not read her book “Israel/Palestine: How to End the War of 1948” should do so without delay. It is one of the best examples I know of how big the gap can be between what we think we know and what is really true.
